I have been a Hydraulics tech for over 3 years. the only product I use for sealing up my connections is the Loctite 545. i have used it on npt fittingd up to 21/2" with a main system pressure of 4500 psi set on the releif valve and a flow of over 100 gpm. Never once had a leak in all the conections.
